I work on a concrete floor in a factory. My heels feel bruised...what shoes work best to prevent this?

I am on my feet around 10 hours a day at work. Tennis shoes (Running shoes, walking shoes, etc) have been tried. I have tried a couple of pairs of work boots to no avail. My last purchase was hiking boots and they have worked the best so far. I know I am not the only factory worker so someone else must have the answer I am looking for. I just want to know what works for you.

Sounds like you%26#039;ve got heel spurs. Along with shoes with good arch support, try icing your feet with a frozen juice can at night (roll it along under your feet), and stretch the arches - you can loop a towel around the ball of your foot and (grabbing each end of the towel in each hand) stretch your arches gently.
Reply:Try using a double-layer of the Dr. whats-his-name padded inserts.
Reply:I%26#039;m not in the a factory but I am on my feel all day. Wht works the best for me is the gel inserts. I bought mine at Walgreens but most stores like target or wal mart will carry them to. You can get some for your heels or for the balls of your feet but they work for me.
